Spa Therapist

About the role

The Spa Therapist is responsible for delivering exceptional spa and wellness experiences to hotel guests, providing professional, personalized, high‑quality treatments with a focus on Thai massage and other therapeutic modalities.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and attend to guests, creating a warm, relaxed, personalized spa experience.
• Conduct guest consultations to understand preferences, wellness requirements and treatment expectations.
• Perform a range of professional spa treatments and massages in line with approved procedures and hotel standards.
• Demonstrate expertise in Thai massage techniques, including stretching, pressure‑point work and proper body positioning.
• Deliver other massage treatments such as Swedish, Aromatherapy, Deep Tissue or Balinese as trained and certified.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and organization of treatment rooms, equipment and spa facilities.
• Record treatments accurately, monitor product usage and assist with inventory control.

Required profile

• Professional qualification or recognized certification in Spa Therapy, Massage Therapy or a related field.
• Proven hands‑on experience in Thai massage; previous experience in a luxury hotel or resort spa is preferred.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, pressure points, stretching and massage movements.
• Excellent guest service, interpersonal skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
