Sous Chef – Luxury Resort Kitchen

About the role

Anantara Kalutara Resort is seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join its culinary team. Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will help maintain the highest standards of culinary excellence, food quality, presentation, and guest satisfaction in a luxury hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and motivate the culinary team during daily operations and high‑volume services.
• Coordinate food preparation and service, ensuring consistency in recipes and plating.
• Support menu development, control food costs, and manage wastage.
• Oversee inventory management and ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety standards.
• Assist in training and developing culinary colleagues.
