S&OP Lead – Strategy & Planning (Colombo, Sri Lanka)

About the role

We are looking for a highly analytical S&OP Lead to join our Strategy & Planning team in Colombo. The role will act as the central hub linking Logistics, Fulfilment, Commercial, Finance, Marketing and regional teams, delivering insights and operational visibility to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate cross‑functional initiatives and ensure alignment of S&OP processes across departments.
• Lead a team of analysts to extract, clean and analyse data, providing root‑cause insights and performance reports.
• Maintain daily operational visibility, support campaign execution and mitigate risks related to ageing inventory and delivery performance.
• Drive logistics and fulfilment optimisation projects aimed at faster delivery, lower error rates and shipping fee recovery.
• Own the end‑to‑end operations planning process, producing accurate monthly, quarterly and yearly forecasts and translating sales forecasts into volume plans for fulfilment and logistics.
• Compare forecasted budgets with actual financial results, identify variances and conduct feasibility and ROI analyses for strategic projects.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in Strategy & Planning, Operations, Logistics or a related field.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, Data Analytics or a similar discipline.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage cross‑functional coordination.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in forecasting and strategic decision‑making.
• Excellent stakeholder management, presentation and reporting skills.
