Solutions Engineer – Pre‑Sales (Colombo)

About the role

The Solutions Engineer (Pre‑Sales) will drive revenue growth by bridging technical expertise with B2B sales activities. Based in Colombo, the role involves frequent travel to engage installers, distributors, EPCs and engineering firms, presenting GoodWe’s solar and energy‑storage solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Train channel partners and installers on product features and installation best practices.
• Support the sales team during customer meetings and create sales‑enablement materials.
• Gather and relay customer feedback on product needs, local codes, and competitive landscape to HQ.
• Assist with engineering change requests and product improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and execute product‑launch materials, guiding internal and external stakeholders through the pre‑sales process.
• Collaborate with the local Country Sales Manager and HQ, receiving and prioritising tasks.

Required profile

• Friendly, positive and customer‑driven attitude.
• Excellent time‑management and organisational skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently.
• BS in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Experience or knowledge of commercial and industrial energy storage is a plus.
