Solution Consultant – Technical Pre‑Sales (Sri Lanka)

About the role

The Solution Consultant acts as the primary technical bridge between our sales organization and clients in Sri Lanka. You will translate complex business challenges into scalable IT solutions, deliver high‑impact demonstrations, and ensure the technical viability of every deal.

Key responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end technical solutions (Cloud, Cybersecurity, or SaaS) and prepare Bill of Materials and Scope of Work.
• Deliver persuasive product demos and technical presentations to C‑level executives and technical stakeholders.
• Lead proof‑of‑concept engagements, ensuring solutions meet client success criteria.
• Manage technical portions of RFI/RFP/RFQ responses for state‑owned enterprises and large financial institutions.
• Monitor the Sri Lankan IT landscape, including local regulations and competitor activity.
• Train and enable local distributors and channel partners to improve their technical selling capabilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related engineering field.
• 5‑10 years of experience in pre‑sales, solution architecture, or technical consulting within the IT industry.
• Native‑level fluency in the local language and professional proficiency in English.
• Strong relationship‑building and lobbying skills, with the ability to simplify complex technology for non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Expertise in security solutions: Fortinet, Cisco, or Palo Alto.
