Software Engineer / Senior Engineer – Embedded C++

About the role

Inivos is seeking a Software Engineer or Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and test embedded software for vehicle platforms. You will work in an international, Agile environment, contributing to a unified software stack that meets strict system requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and test embedded C++ software for automotive platforms.
• Configure, implement, and integrate software components into a cohesive stack.
• Perform validation and verification activities to ensure software quality.
• Create and execute test cases using diverse testing techniques.
• Debug and resolve issues in embedded C++ code.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an Agile (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) setting.
• Work with Android‑based systems and integrate Android components.
• Ensure compatibility between software and hardware in an embedded context.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of software development experience, preferably in embedded systems.
• Strong knowledge of C++ (C++11/14) and hands‑on Android development.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban.
• Experience with Linux development environments.
• Understanding of hardware‑software interaction in embedded devices.
• Excellent English communication skills in a technical setting.
