About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer specialized in RPG development to join our Card Management Systems team in Colombo. You will work on high‑availability payment applications, integrating legacy RPG modules with modern micro‑services.

Key responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain RPG IV / ILE RPG code on IBM i (AS/400) platforms.
Integrate card management solutions such as VisionPLUS, CMS by FSS, or Base24 with Java/Spring Boot micro‑services.
Implement ISO 8583 message handling and ensure end‑to‑end transaction workflows.
Develop RESTful APIs, work with JSON/XML, and connect to relational databases (DB2, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and support CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
Minimum 4 years of professional software development experience.
Strong problem‑solving abilities in a high‑availability environment.
