Software Engineer, Professional II

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join Zebra’s scanner tools team. In this role you will design, develop, and maintain Windows‑based desktop applications and SDK components that enable seamless device integration across Zebra’s ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Windows desktop applications and SDK components using C++, C# and .NET.
• Debug and resolve complex performance, compatibility, and integration issues.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams within an Agile/Scrum workflow.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and release documentation.
• Investigate and remediate security vulnerabilities as part of release cycles.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of software development experience focused on Windows.
• Strong debugging and communication skills.
