Software Engineer Intern (MERN Stack)

About the role

Codrizon is looking for a motivated Software Engineer Intern to join its remote development team. You will work on full‑stack web applications using the MERN stack, contributing to both back‑end and front‑end features while gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced tech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to translate project requirements into technical specifications.
• Design, develop, and deploy scalable web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following best practices.
• Perform testing, debugging, and performance optimization to ensure reliable and secure applications.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Document code and share knowledge to support team collaboration.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in computer science principles.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science or a related field.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, CSS
• MERN stack: MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js
• Object‑oriented programming (OOP) concepts
• Version control with Git and GitHub
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies (preferred)
