Software Architect

About the role

The Software Architect is responsible for the overall technical ownership of a large product area, technology stack, or client solution. This role combines strategic architectural guidance with hands‑on delivery, ensuring that solutions meet performance, security, and operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own the technical direction of a product, sub‑product, or extensive technical domain.
• Identify, plan, and implement architectural changes to improve business service.
• Collaborate with product managers to anticipate business trends and propose technical investments.
• Maintain and evolve non‑functional qualities such as performance, resiliency, security, and hardware efficiency.
• Ensure codebases are maintainable, extensible, and aligned with architectural standards.
• Represent the area in senior stakeholder forums and serve on the Architecture Review Board.
• Guide delivery teams to achieve high‑quality, on‑time customer solutions.
• Mentor engineers and junior architects, especially when new technologies are introduced.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading technical design and delivery for large‑scale software products.
• Strong ability to translate business needs into architectural solutions.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and team mentorship.
• Capacity to evaluate third‑party and open‑source solutions for integration.
