Social Media Marketing Specialist

About the role

Fashion Bug is seeking a highly creative, trend‑driven Social Media Marketing Specialist to turn ideas into engaging content, generate viral moments, and run performance‑focused digital campaigns across key platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Create high‑quality, engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and other digital platforms.
• Conceptualise and produce Reels, short‑form videos, stories and campaign assets with strong hooks and viral potential.
• Edit fast‑paced, platform‑native videos using CapCut and design artwork with Canva.
• Develop creative concepts that capture attention within the first few seconds to drive engagement, shares and conversions.
• Identify and adapt current social media trends, formats, sounds and styles to suit Fashion Bug’s brand.
• Manage Meta Ads Manager campaigns, including large budgets, audience targeting, optimisation, retargeting and performance monitoring.
• Analyse campaign and content performance, continuously improving reach, engagement, conversions, ROAS and other key metrics.
• Collaborate with marketing, design and retail teams around collections, promotions, store openings and brand campaigns.

Required profile

• Proven experience in social media marketing and content creation, preferably within fashion, retail or fast‑moving consumer brands.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creative, high‑engagement or viral social media content.
• Ability to move quickly from idea to creation, editing and publishing.
• Creative thinker who understands that great social content must stop the scroll while delivering measurable results.
