Social Media Executive

About the role

We are looking for an outgoing, trend‑savvy Social Media Executive to be the face and voice of a premier urban shopping destination. The role blends on‑camera hosting, short‑form video creation, real‑time event coverage, and community engagement to drive footfall and brand awareness.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary on‑screen host, filming interviews with shoppers, tenants and presenting brand campaigns across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube Shorts.
• Conceptualise, shoot and edit daily Reels, TikToks and Shorts using fast cuts, trending audio and creative transitions.
• Capture live video and photo coverage of mall activations, festive promotions and tenant launches with rapid turnaround.
• Maintain social channels, optimise posting schedules, run boosted campaigns and craft persuasive captions.
• Collaborate with tenants and food‑court outlets to co‑create cross‑promotional content and manage community interactions.
• Monitor reach, engagement and video‑view metrics via Meta Business Suite and adjust content strategy accordingly.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of hands‑on experience in social media management, digital marketing or content creation, preferably in retail or lifestyle sectors.
• Strong on‑camera presence, professional appearance and fluent English communication.
• Willingness to work Saturdays and public holidays to cover peak activations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with mobile video/photo editing tools such as CapCut, Canva and InShot.
• Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud – Premiere Pro and Photoshop.
• Advanced smartphone videography and photography skills.
• Knowledge of Meta Business Suite, trend‑tracking and audience‑engagement tools.
