SNIM Setter – Manufacturing Quality & Safety Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a SNIM Setter to ensure safety, quality, and efficient production in our finishing department. The role involves daily inspections, documentation, data management, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to maintain compliance with customer and internal standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out daily safety inspections and checklists, maintaining 100% compliance.
• Complete all relevant documentation, checklists and inspections, including first‑off approval, make‑ready checklist, QIS and quality statistic reports.
• Generate and submit shift reports, serial number reports and other management‑requested documentation.
• Work closely with materials, purchasing and engineering teams to obtain product details, maintain spares, and resolve equipment breakdowns.
• Participate in PFMEA activities, problem‑solving sessions and continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure all machines operate with accurate models and training sets, and that operatives follow standard procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum G.C.E. A/L completed.
• At least two years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Good command of English, both written and verbal.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems (preferred).
• Familiarity with customer standards such as LAB standards, BNOF specifications and CMMP.
