Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

Trident Recruitment Solutions is seeking a full‑time Site Reliability Engineer for a hybrid role based in the Colombo District. You will design, implement and maintain reliable, scalable and secure systems that keep production applications running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor system performance and respond to incidents with root‑cause analysis.
• Automate operational tasks and develop scripts to improve observability.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Manage deployments and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Create and maintain documentation, runbooks and best‑practice guides.

Required profile

• Strong background in site reliability, observability and incident management.
• Solid troubleshooting skills for complex Linux/Unix environments.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in a hybrid setting.
