Site Data Manager – Fixed-Term (2 Years)

About the role

The Site Data Manager will support the Site I4.0 Manager in driving the digital transformation of the plant. Working on the Factory Data Lake solution, the role ensures data quality, governance and accessibility across the site and the corporate data lake.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and manage the Factory Data Lake in line with central specifications.
• Control access to D2/D3 data and act as the single point of contact for plant data queries.
• Deploy standard machine templates in the PI System according to the Data Strategy roadmap.
• Apply data‑governance rules, validate legacy‑system data, and resolve data‑quality issues.
• Monitor data‑quality performance and drive continuous improvement plans.
• Ensure compliance with information‑security policies and support incident management.
• Provide L2 user support, training, and maintain up‑to‑date documentation.
• Co‑lead the network of data administrators together with the Site Information Manager.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of digital, IS/IT and data concepts within an industrial environment.
• Experience with data‑lake architectures and data‑governance practices.
• Ability to analyse root causes of data issues and implement corrective actions.
• Good communication skills to train users and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
