Showroom Sales Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Showroom Sales Specialist to join our client’s showroom in Colombo. The specialist will greet visitors, understand their needs and present appropriate products and solutions, guiding them through the purchasing journey.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers and assess their requirements.
• Demonstrate product features, explain pricing, promotions and prepare quotations.
• Maintain showroom displays and ensure stock is well presented.
• Coordinate orders, deliveries and after‑sales support with internal teams.
• Handle customer inquiries, build relationships with repeat clients and contribute to sales targets.

Required profile

• Experience working in showrooms, retail or hospitality environments.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Sales orientation with a proven ability to convert interest into purchases.
• Basic knowledge or interest in interior design to advise on product combinations.
• Availability to work on‑site in Colombo, including weekends or extended hours as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency with basic computer applications.
• Experience using point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
