Service Engineer – Renal Care & Technical Services

About the role

The Service Engineer will support the Renal Care and Technical Services business across Sri Lanka. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting hemodialysis, CRRT, and water‑treatment equipment to ensure high customer satisfaction and patient safety.

Key responsibilities

• Install new medical equipment, calibrate, adjust and test performance.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to schedules and manufacturer guidelines.
• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic and electromechanical faults and carry out repairs.
• Provide user training, equipment operation demonstrations and clinical application support.
• Manage equipment inventory, place orders and verify receipts.
• Conduct safety tests, follow B. Braun safety codes and guide healthcare personnel.
• Document service actions, complete reports and handle quality complaints.
• Respond to emergencies to ensure uninterrupted operation for customers.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in medical equipment servicing, installation and maintenance.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical, electronic and electromechanical systems.
• Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma in Biomedical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics engineering or a related field.
• Professional certifications in biomedical equipment maintenance are a plus.
