About the role

Global Skills Meet is seeking an SEO Content Writer to join its international marketing team in Colombo. You will research industry topics, create engaging articles and support digital marketing campaigns while developing your SEO expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Research industry trends and produce original, SEO‑optimised articles for websites and blogs.
• Conduct keyword research to uncover new content opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Digital Marketing team to shape content strategies.
• Proofread, edit and ensure high‑quality, grammatically correct copy.
• Assist with publishing content across various digital platforms.
• Support broader marketing projects and campaigns as needed.

Required profile

• Excellent written English with strong grammar, spelling and punctuation.
• Passion for researching and writing on diverse topics.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Organised, able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn new digital marketing skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
