Senior Technical Project Manager

About the role

AI Labs, part of IronOne LLC, is looking for a senior technical project manager to lead AI and technology initiatives. The role combines strategic planning, agile delivery, and cross‑functional coordination to ensure projects meet quality, timeline, and budget expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities of development teams and oversee multiple AI/technology projects from initiation to completion.
• Establish and maintain project management processes, workflows, and best practices across the organization.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand‑ups, and sprint reviews.
• Maintain project tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps) to ensure accurate task and deliverable visibility.
• Prepare and present project timelines, milestones, status reports, and performance metrics to senior leadership.
• Identify, monitor, and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and issues, escalating when necessary.
• Lead, mentor, and collaborate with project managers and cross‑functional teams to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
• Act as primary contact for internal and external stakeholders, communicating progress, risks, and decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• 8+ years of experience managing complex technology, software, AI, or data projects.
• Professional project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum) preferred.
