Senior Systems & Infrastructure Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Systems & Infrastructure Administrator to join our infrastructure team in Colombo. You will support day‑to‑day IT operations for a group of companies, handling helpdesk tickets, directory services, endpoint security, network monitoring and vendor coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Own and triage the IT support ticket queue, resolve L1/L2 issues and escalate complex cases.
• Manage Active Directory and Microsoft 365/Entra ID – provisioning, de‑provisioning, password resets, group and license administration.
• Monitor CrowdStrike EDR alerts across 1,500+ endpoints and manage SOTI MobiControl device enrollment and policies.
• Perform firewall, switch and server health checks, verify backup jobs and coordinate OS patch rollouts.
• Handle vendor calls, warranty tracking, hardware/software procurement and service requests.
• Maintain up‑to‑date SOPs, asset records, configuration documentation and produce weekly status reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in IT, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on system/network administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365/Entra ID and Exchange Online.
• Good understanding of firewalls, managed switches (Fortinet, Juniper, Cisco a plus), Windows and Linux environments.
• Experience with ticketing systems and SLA‑driven processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Sinhala.
• Willingness to work in an ISO 27001‑certified environment and follow documented procedures.
