Senior Staff Engineer – Solution Architect (AI & Automation)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Staff Engineer – Solution Architect specializing in AI and automation to lead the Core Engineering team. The role involves driving innovative, scalable, and customer‑centric technology solutions across AI automation, content transformation, publishing platforms, and bespoke engineering initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical thought leadership and strategic direction for Core Engineering solutions.
• Research market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities.
• Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to understand business challenges and define technical solutions.
• Design scalable, secure, cost‑effective, and reusable solution architectures.
• Support RFPs, discovery workshops, customer demonstrations, Proof of Concepts (POCs), and MVP initiatives.
• Develop architecture blueprints for AI & Intelligent Automation, Content Processing & Transformation, Publishing Workflows, Data Pipelines, and Cloud‑Native Platforms.
• Partner with Engineering Leads to translate solution designs into implementation plans and delivery roadmaps.
• Evaluate technologies, frameworks, and platforms to recommend best‑fit solutions.
• Ensure solutions meet performance, security, scalability, observability, and operational excellence requirements.
• Prepare architecture documentation, technical proposals, solution briefs, and executive‑level presentations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, cloud architecture, or enterprise platform design.
• Proven track record of designing and delivering enterprise‑grade solutions from concept through implementation.
• Experience working across business, engineering, product, delivery, and customer stakeholder groups.
