Senior Specialist - Symantec Email Security & Endpoint Security

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Specialist with deep expertise in Symantec Email Security and Endpoint Security to provide L3 technical support, incident management, and operational administration of our security solutions. The role involves troubleshooting complex security incidents, performing root‑cause analysis, and ensuring the stability of our endpoint and email protection environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver L3 support for Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP), Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR), and Symantec Email Security solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex security incidents within defined SLAs.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis for critical incidents and implement preventive measures.
• Monitor endpoint and email environments to detect, investigate, and remediate threats.
• Manage Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM), policies, client deployments, and security configurations.
• Analyze phishing, malware, spam, and ransomware incidents and recommend remediation actions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless security operations.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge‑base articles, and operational procedures.
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in endpoint security, email security, or information security operations.
• Proven experience delivering L3/L4 support in enterprise environments.
• Relevant certifications such as Symantec Certified Specialist (SCS) and ITIL Foundation are preferred.
