Senior Software Engineer – OpenText ECM (OTCS / OTMM)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and enhance enterprise content management solutions using OpenText Content Server (OTCS) and OpenText Media Management (OTMM). You will work in an Agile, cross‑functional team delivering scalable, secure, and highly available solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and customize OTCS (categories, attributes, permissions, workflows, WebReports, records management) and OTMM (metadata models, asset ingestion, renditions, search).
• Build integrations and services exposing OpenText capabilities via REST APIs, middleware, and OScript.
• Support platform operations including installations, upgrades, patching, performance tuning, troubleshooting and production support.
• Develop document and image processing pipelines for ingestion, extraction, transformation and metadata enrichment.
• Follow CI/CD practices, ensure high code quality, and participate in the full software lifecycle from development to post‑production support.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (minimum 3 years).
• 3–5 years of software development experience in an Agile environment.
• Hands‑on experience with OpenText Content Server and OpenText Media Management, including configuration, customization and integration.
• Practical programming experience in Java, Python or JavaScript/TypeScript and ability to build APIs.
• Strong understanding of ECM concepts such as document lifecycle, versioning, metadata modeling and records management.

• Cloud platforms: AWS or GCP.
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code: Terraform (preferred).
• AI‑assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) – optional.
