Senior Software Engineer, Loyalty

About the role

qlub is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join its Loyalty team, which powers points, rewards, tiers and subscriptions for diners and restaurants. You will work across the full stack – frontend, backend services and databases – and own features from design through production in an AI‑native environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and operate customer‑facing web apps, merchant admin tools, backend services and the underlying relational database.
• Create safe data migrations and relational models that handle money and points accurately.
• Integrate third‑party loyalty providers with a focus on reliability, idempotency and security.
• Leverage AI coding agents daily for discovery, implementation, debugging, testing and documentation while remaining fully accountable for shipped code.
• Improve observability, performance and reliability of the Loyalty platform.

Required profile

• You take ownership of outcomes and see work through to production, making quick decisions with incomplete information.
• You are comfortable working anywhere in the stack, picking up new tools and languages rapidly, and collaborating with engineers, product, design and operations.

Required skills

• 5+ years building production software with ownership across frontend, backend and database.
• Strong backend experience in Go (Node.js acceptable).
• Solid frontend experience with React, Next.js and TypeScript.
• Expertise with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL or SQL Server.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, asynchronous processing, queues, retries and idempotency.
• Daily use of AI‑assisted development tools.
• Experience with Redis, Docker, Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Fluent English with strong written communication.
