Senior Software Engineer

About the role

CodeGen International is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its engineering team. You will design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑grade software products, focusing on scalable, secure, and high‑performance solutions while mentoring junior developers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build secure, high‑performance web application features using Angular or React for the enterprise travel product.
• Develop scalable backend services with Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and a microservices architecture.
• Ensure code quality, scalability, maintainability, security, and performance across all product developments.
• Take end‑to‑end ownership of software delivery, from development through production deployment.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert across multiple product modules and mentor junior developers.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum processes and promote best practices.

Required profile

• BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• 3–4 years of hands‑on software engineering experience, including at least 1 year in a senior capacity.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving skills, and a growth mindset.
