Senior Software Engineer

About the role

The Senior Software Engineer will actively contribute across all phases of Novacura projects, delivering high‑quality software solutions that meet customer needs. You will collaborate closely with customers and Business System Consultants to translate requirements into scalable technical designs.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers and consultants to gather and analyse requirements.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom configurations, modifications, and integrations for Novacura Flow and IFS Applications.
• Work with related technologies such as .NET, IoT, and Machine Learning to enhance solutions.
• Own technical deliverables throughout the solution lifecycle, from design to deployment.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members and share knowledge within the team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or a related field.
• 4+ years of hands‑on experience with IFS, including IFS Cloud customisations.
• Previous experience in a technical consulting or senior software engineering role.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple customers and tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• IFS Applications and IFS Cloud development.
• SQL and PL/SQL databases.
• Programming languages: C#, Java, JavaScript, Python.
• REST and SOAP APIs, XML, JSON, integration frameworks.
• .NET, IoT, Machine Learning concepts.
