Senior ServiceNow Developer

About the role

Reporting to the ServiceNow Team Leader and working alongside a Technical Specialist, the Senior ServiceNow Developer will lead the delivery and rollout of new functionality across NEXT Technology's core ServiceNow platform.

Key responsibilities

• Scope, implement and test projects, ensuring clear communication and documentation.
• Develop and deploy platform changes, coordinating with third‑party vendors.
• Perform regression testing and apply fixes for upgrades and patches.
• Provide technical guidance and conduct reviews for junior ServiceNow team members.
• Promote best‑practice adoption and manage testing using the Automated Test Framework (ATF).
• Design and implement automation through integrations and other platform products.

Required profile

• Proven experience developing on the ServiceNow platform.
• Hands‑on implementation in at least one area such as ITSM, Customer Service Management, Integrated Risk Management, Predictive Intelligence, Task Intelligence, Performance Analytics, Virtual Agent or NLU.
• Experience customizing Workspaces and Service Portal (HTML, CSS, AngularJS, Bootstrap).
• Strong knowledge of platform best practices, table structures, ACLs, and client/server‑side scripting (script includes).
• Effective communication skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies (advantageous) and ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (desirable).
