Senior Sales Manager – BFSI Sector

About the role

The Senior Sales Manager will drive revenue growth and business expansion for IT solutions within the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector. You will lead strategic initiatives to acquire new clients, nurture existing relationships, and translate client needs into tailored proposals while ensuring successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and target potential BFSI clients, develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers, understand client challenges, and propose customized IT solutions.
• Collaborate with technical teams to create comprehensive proposals, lead negotiations, and manage tenders, RFPs and RFIs.
• Monitor industry trends, conduct competitor analysis, and adjust sales tactics to maintain a competitive edge.
• Lead, coach and motivate a sales team, and work closely with marketing, pre‑sales and delivery teams to ensure client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field; MBA preferred.
• 5–6 years of B2B sales experience in the IT industry, specifically serving the BFSI sector.
• Proven ability to develop pipelines, close deals and manage client relationships.
• Strong analytical mindset, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and proficiency with CRM and sales tools.
