Senior Sales Executive – Freight Forwarding

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Sales Executive to drive profitable revenue growth for our Freight Forwarding & Logistics division. The role focuses on acquiring new customers, expanding existing accounts and delivering value‑added logistics solutions across sea and air freight, imports, exports and cross‑trade.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new B2B customers for freight forwarding services.
• Generate sales and achieve GP targets through sea freight, air freight and cross‑trade operations.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate terms and convert enquiries into confirmed business.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and act as the primary point of contact.
• Manage the sales pipeline and CRM data with high accuracy.
• Gather market and competitor intelligence to inform strategy.
• Collaborate internally to cross‑sell additional logistics services.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics or related B2B sales.
• Proven track record in new‑business development and customer acquisition.
• Solid understanding of sea freight, air freight, import/export processes and customs clearance.
• Ability to interpret freight rates, trade lanes and logistics costing.
• Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and own sales targets.
• Experience with CRM systems and sales reporting tools is an advantage.
