Senior Relationship Officer – Private Banking

About the role

The Senior Relationship Officer will be responsible for acquiring and managing high‑net‑worth and affluent clients, delivering tailored banking and wealth‑management solutions while driving business growth for the Private Banking division.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire new high‑net‑worth and affluent clients through referrals, networking and strategic partnerships.
• Manage, retain and grow a portfolio of high‑net‑worth clients by offering tailored banking, investment and wealth‑management solutions.
• Drive branch and Private Banking business targets through proactive client acquisition and relationship management.
• Promote, cross‑sell and upsell the bank’s products and services, including deposits, investments, cards, lending solutions and insurance.
• Deliver exceptional customer service with consistent, professional and personalized client engagement.
• Monitor transactions, identify and report unusual activities in line with AML and KYC requirements.
• Support branch compliance reviews, internal controls and audit readiness initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, operational procedures, regulatory requirements and risk‑management standards.
• Plan and coordinate client engagement activities, promotional campaigns and networking events to strengthen relationships and enhance brand presence.

Required profile

• Professional qualification in Banking, Retail Banking, Credit Management or a related discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Banking or a related field (advantageous).
• 4–6 years of experience in banking, preferably in Private Banking, Priority Banking, Wealth Management or Relationship Management.
• Proven experience servicing high‑net‑worth or affluent customer segments.
• Strong relationship‑management and business‑development track record with achievement of sales targets.
• Sound knowledge of banking products, investment solutions and wealth‑management practices.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills with a strong command of English.
• Outgoing, customer‑focused and results‑driven personality with high attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities, professionalism and integrity.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Experience with digital banking platforms.
