Senior QA Engineer - Automation

About the role

Gallagher is seeking a Senior QA Engineer with strong manual and automation testing experience to ensure the quality of its digital products. You will work closely with product, design and development teams in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test strategies and plans for web and mobile products.
• Define scope, approach and risk‑based priorities across functional, regression, integration, system, exploratory and accessibility testing.
• Execute manual and automated test cases covering UI/UX, responsive design, API, performance and accessibility.
• Own end‑to‑end test coverage for critical user journeys and business workflows.
• Partner with product managers and designers to clarify acceptance criteria and testability requirements.
• Communicate quality risks, test results and release readiness to stakeholders.
• Participate in production incident reviews and contribute to post‑mortem actions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience testing digital products with a mix of manual and automation.
• Proven experience in test planning, execution and defect management.
• Hands‑on experience with at least one major automation framework.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum or Kanban environments.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
