Senior QA Automation & Performance Tester (BFSI)

About the role

Surge Global is seeking a senior QA professional to lead automation and performance testing for its BFSI clients. The role involves designing robust test frameworks, driving continuous testing in CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring high‑quality releases across web, mobile and API platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web, mobile and API testing.
• Create and execute automated test scripts across multiple environments.
• Lead load, stress, scalability and endurance testing initiatives.
• Analyse performance test results, identify bottlenecks and system limitations.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with DevOps.
• Define QA strategies, standards and best practices for automation and performance testing.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote test automation adoption.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of QA experience with a strong focus on automation and performance testing.
• Prior experience in FinTech/BFSI environments is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively with developers, product managers and operations teams.
