Senior Project Engineer - Network Security

About the role

Cube Networks is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead the design and delivery of enterprise‑grade network and security solutions for clients across APAC. Based in Colombo, you will work closely with Australian stakeholders, vendors and delivery teams to ensure high‑quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design, validation and delivery of networking, security and data‑centre solutions.
• Conduct client workshops, produce detailed and as‑built documentation, and provide Level 3 post‑implementation support.
• Maintain project documentation, risk logs and handover materials.
• Support presales activities: solution design, pricing estimates and Statement of Work preparation.
• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to service revenue targets.
• Mentor project engineers, drive capability development and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• 5–10 years experience delivering enterprise technology projects in networking, security, cloud or collaboration.
• Background in systems integration or enterprise environments with hands‑on project delivery.
• Strong documentation, stakeholder engagement and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNP/CCIE, Palo Alto PCNSE, Aruba, Fortinet, Juniper) are highly regarded.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for international collaboration.
