Senior Production Manager

About the role

A leading apparel manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Senior Manager – Production to lead its knit product manufacturing operations. The role will be responsible for driving productivity, quality and delivery performance across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee overall production operations for knit products.
• Develop and execute production plans to achieve output and delivery targets.
• Monitor production efficiency, productivity, quality and key performance indicators.
• Manage production teams, ensuring effective manpower and resource utilization.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve flow.
• Coordinate closely with Planning, IE, Quality, Technical and Merchandising functions.
• Control production costs and pursue efficiency improvements.
• Provide regular performance updates to senior management.

Required profile

• Strong experience in apparel and knit product manufacturing.
• Proven senior production management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large production teams.
• Good understanding of production planning, capacity and productivity management.
• Experience in continuous improvement and process optimisation.
• Willingness to relocate to Eheliyagoda if required.
