Senior Manager - Talent and Performance

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Manager to lead talent and performance functions for a leading FMCG group in Colombo. The role will shift talent practices from transactional recruitment to a data‑driven, integrated model that attracts top talent, accelerates new‑hire success and builds a sustainable leadership pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and promote the Group’s Employer Value Proposition and design innovative talent attraction strategies across multiple business units.
• Lead end‑to‑end talent acquisition, strengthen assessment methods, drive recruitment automation and maintain dashboards on time‑to‑fill, quality of hire and early attrition.
• Design and continuously improve a structured onboarding experience, monitor new‑hire performance and analyse early attrition to refine processes.
• Own the performance‑management framework, create performance dashboards, facilitate talent discussions and implement performance improvement plans.
• Establish talent‑review processes, build talent heat‑maps, identify high‑potential employees and design succession plans for critical roles.
• Create clear career pathways, integrate career management with workforce planning and deliver an integrated talent analytics dashboard.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of progressive HR experience with strong exposure to talent acquisition, performance management and broader talent management.
• Proven track record of designing or improving recruitment, onboarding and performance‑management processes.
• Experience partnering with senior business leaders and, preferably, exposure to FMCG or multi‑business environments.
• Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management, Psychology or a related discipline.
