Senior Manager – Sea Freight Pricing

About the role

Join our dynamic shipping and logistics team and take the lead in shaping our sea freight pricing strategy across key trade lanes and markets. We are looking for a Senior Manager to drive pricing decisions and support commercial growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead ocean freight pricing strategy and commercial rate management
• Negotiate and manage rates with shipping lines, NVOCCs, and service providers
• Analyze market trends, carrier rates, customer requirements, and competitor pricing
• Develop competitive pricing solutions while protecting margins
• Drive RFQ/tender pricing and support key account opportunities
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, Trade Lane, and Finance teams
• Monitor profitability, pricing performance, and market developments
• Lead and develop the pricing team to achieve commercial targets

Required profile

• Strong experience in sea freight pricing (2‑3 years)
• Proven experience in a managerial or senior commercial pricing role
• Strong knowledge of shipping lines, trade lanes, FCL/LCL, and freight markets
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and commercial skills
• Ability to make strategic pricing decisions in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong leadership and stakeholder‑management capabilities
