Senior Lead Finance Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Senior Lead Finance Analyst to support strategic decision‑making at WSO2. In this senior position you will lead financial planning, budgeting cycles and build models that turn complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business unit leads to develop medium‑ and long‑term financial and strategic plans, build budgets and forecasts, and own monthly and quarterly review cycles.
• Identify trends, recommend long‑term action plans, and share analyses and commentary with senior leadership and wider teams.
• Review historical budgets and forecasts to improve future planning cycles.
• Conduct systems analyses, manage complex data systems, and drive process changes, ensuring effective operations after implementation.
• Stay informed on market research, business intelligence, and valuation comparables, proactively sharing insights.
• Manage resources, resolve issues, and hold the team accountable for results while providing leadership on projects.
• Prepare financial reports, create financial models and analyses as needed.
• Identify system gaps and bottlenecks, leading projects in systems integration and automation across entities.
• Serve as a financial advisor to cross‑functional teams and external consultants, ensuring future business requirements are reflected in planning.

Required profile

• Finance or related degree from a recognized university or professional accounting body (e.g., CFA, ACCA, CIMA).
• 8+ years of relevant experience at an equivalent senior level.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under continuous change and tight deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
• Proven ability to own projects and see them through to completion.
• Team‑player mindset with leadership capabilities.
