Senior Lead Engineer – IT Infrastructure (AI/ML Focus)

About the role

We are looking for a senior‑level engineer to lead the transformation of our IT infrastructure through AI/ML‑driven automation. The role combines hands‑on technical leadership with strategic evaluation of emerging technologies to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Drive adoption of AI/ML tools across server, storage and application layers to modernise operations.
• Evaluate, recommend and implement new AI‑focused platforms that align with business needs.
• Design, tune and capacity‑plan Windows and Linux server environments, including databases and applications.
• Ensure compliance with ISO‑27001 and PCI‑DSS security standards, perform vulnerability remediation and hardening.
• Lead incident analysis, root‑cause investigations and provide timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to document architecture, procedures and project outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience managing enterprise Windows and Linux server infrastructures.
• Relevant certifications such as VMware VCP, Nutanix NCP, MCSE, Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, RHCE or equivalent are a plus.
• Proven ability to work under pressure, both independently and within a team, including after‑hours support.

Required skills

• Microsoft Windows Server administration.
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CentOS, Ubuntu.
• VMware vSphere and/or Nutanix AHV virtualization.
• Ansible automation and shell scripting.
• Storage technologies (SAN, NAS), RAID configurations and backup/recovery solutions.
• Server monitoring, performance tuning, capacity planning.
• High‑availability, disaster‑recovery and business‑continuity concepts.
• Server hardening, patch management, vulnerability remediation.
• Knowledge of ISO‑27001 and PCI‑DSS compliance.
• Experience with AI/ML integration and intelligent automation.
