Senior Lead Digital Developer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Lead Digital Developer to head our Sri Lanka development team. The role combines hands‑on coding with leadership, ensuring delivery of high‑quality, scalable digital solutions that meet global standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and grow a high‑performing development team.
• Design and build responsive web applications using modern technologies.
• Establish coding standards, conduct code reviews and enforce quality practices.
• Develop solutions with .NET Core, C#, React or Angular, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Implement digital experiences on platforms such as Sitecore, Umbraco and SharePoint.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups and retrospectives.
• Manage security‑related technical requirements and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners and global teams in the UK and US.
• Research and recommend new technologies to improve delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Lead Developer or Senior Developer.
• Strong full‑stack web development background.
• Hands‑on experience with .NET Core and C#.
• Extensive experience with React or Angular.
• Experience with Sitecore, Umbraco or SharePoint.
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and coding best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with multicultural or offshore teams.
