Senior Executive – Talent Acquisition & HR Business Partner

About the role

WPP Media is seeking a Senior Executive to lead talent acquisition and act as an HR Business Partner for its Sri Lankan operations. The role combines full‑cycle recruitment with day‑to‑day HR support, ensuring a seamless employee experience from hire to exit.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for all positions in Sri Lanka, from sourcing to onboarding.
• Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, create job descriptions, and develop hiring strategies.
• Source candidates via job boards, social media, professional networks and internal databases.
• Conduct screenings, coordinate interviews, manage candidate communication and oversee offer negotiations.
• Maintain accurate data in the Applicant Tracking System and report recruitment metrics.
• Serve as the primary HR contact, providing guidance on policies, performance management, employee relations and investigations.
• Facilitate onboarding, off‑boarding, compensation reviews, benefits administration and payroll support.
• Contribute to employer branding and HR initiatives such as workforce planning and employee engagement.

• Experience working in or knowledge of the Sri Lankan talent market.
