Senior Executive – NVOCC Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Executive to lead our NVOCC operations, ensuring cargo moves smoothly from booking to final delivery. The role requires close collaboration with shipping lines, customers, overseas agents, transport partners and internal teams while maintaining accurate documentation and timely execution.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day NVOCC and sea‑freight operations, meeting agreed timelines.
• Coordinate cargo bookings, vessel schedules, space allocation and shipment planning.
• Prepare, verify and process Bills of Lading, Shipping Instructions, manifests, delivery orders and related documents.
• Liaise with shipping lines, customers, overseas agents, ports, terminals and transport partners on shipment requirements.
• Monitor shipment status, follow up on vessel schedules, transshipments, delays and documentation.
• Handle LCL/FCL shipments, including consolidation and de‑consolidation activities.
• Resolve operational issues, documentation discrepancies and shipment queries promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of bookings, documentation and operational transactions.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, shipping regulations and industry standards.
• Support cost monitoring, freight‑related charges and operational expense tracking.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Management or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in NVOCC, shipping, sea freight, freight forwarding or logistics operations.
• Hands‑on experience with NVOCC operations and shipping documentation.
• Strong knowledge of Bill of Lading, Shipping Instructions, manifests, vessel schedules and cargo bookings.
• Excellent communication, coordination, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple shipments and deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Familiarity with CargoWise or similar freight‑forwarding/ERP systems.
