Senior Executive Designer

About the role

MAS Matrix, a leading flat‑knit apparel manufacturer, is seeking a Senior Executive Designer to support the Design Manager in developing seasonal collections for global brands such as Nike, Decathlon and Lacoste. The role involves trend research, concept creation, sketching and close collaboration with technical and business teams to deliver products that meet sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Design Manager in maintaining the seasonal material and design calendar and preparing timely launches.
• Create macro and micro trend boards covering knits, yarns, colors, trims and design details for each product pillar.
• Develop creative concepts and design proposals that generate business opportunities and support annual sales goals.
• Coordinate with fabric, programming and sourcing teams to define knit structures, graphics, colors and performance specifications.
• Provide recommendations to technical leads and programmers to optimise design for cost and manufacturability during hand‑over meetings.

Required profile

• B.Des (Hons) in Fashion Design or related field with product development experience.
• Proven experience in flat‑knit design and strong knowledge of flat‑knitting structures.
• Ability to communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams and present design concepts.

Required skills

• Proficiency with design software such as Adobe Collection, Clo and Apex.
• Technical expertise in flat knitting design and structure development.
