Senior Executive, Cash Operations

About the role

The Senior Executive, Cash Operations will join the Cash Operations team within LSEG Finance Services Operations. Reporting to the Cash Operations Team Leader, you will manage cash positioning, liquidity, and payment processing across multiple regions while supporting finance projects and ad‑hoc initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily cash positioning and optimise liquidity in collaboration with finance stakeholders.
• Review and approve payments using LSEG banking platforms across multiple regions.
• Post financial transactions promptly to support bank reconciliation.
• Supervise daily MT940 uploads into Cash Manager and ensure data accuracy.
• Prepare general‑ledger journal entries for review and posting.
• Investigate unresolved transactions across Treasury, Financial Reporting, Accounts Payable and Credit Control.
• Follow the Accounts Receivable Direct Debit process and meet timelines.
• Support preparation and reconciliation of bank‑to‑GL balances.
• Partner with wider finance teams during high‑volume periods and ensure reporting deadlines are met.
• Provide ad‑hoc analysis and reporting to Group and local finance teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable or Finance Operations within a large organisation.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting and tight‑deadline environments.
• Experience with reconciliation processes and implementing financial controls.
