Senior Electrical Engineer

About the role

A leading apparel manufacturing organization is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to strengthen its engineering function and drive reliability, development, and improvement of electrical and facility infrastructure across its manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical execution of electrical and multidisciplinary engineering projects for factory expansions, new facilities, upgrades, and renovations.
• Translate operational requirements into practical electrical solutions, develop scopes, technical requirements, and implementation plans.
• Manage projects from planning through installation, commissioning, handover, and post‑project evaluation, monitoring budget, resources, quality and risks.
• Take ownership of electrical infrastructure, ensuring reliability of power distribution, panels, cabling, protection, lighting, earthing, generators and UPS systems.
• Assess existing systems, recommend upgrades, investigate recurring issues and develop long‑term solutions.
• Provide engineering oversight for critical utilities (power generation, HVAC, compressed air, pumps) and identify energy‑efficiency opportunities.
• Support maintenance strategy, analyze breakdown trends and recommend reliability‑focused upgrades.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, HVAC and architectural teams on construction, renovation and fit‑out projects.

Required profile

• BSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering within manufacturing or large‑scale industrial facilities.
• Strong practical experience with industrial electrical systems and factory infrastructure.
• Experience managing engineering projects from design through commissioning.
• Good knowledge of electrical distribution, generators, UPS, protection, cabling and earthing.
• Exposure to factory utilities such as HVAC, compressed air, pumps and power generation.
