Senior Digital Marketing Specialist – Search & AI Visibility

About the role

The Senior Digital Marketing Specialist will design and execute integrated strategies that boost the company’s visibility across traditional search, paid media, and emerging AI‑driven discovery platforms. This remote, full‑time role requires a strategic thinker with deep hands‑on expertise in SEO, answer‑engine optimisation and generative‑AI visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with business objectives, covering SEO, AEO, GEO and paid channels.
• Lead optimisation for traditional search, answer engines and generative AI platforms, including schema markup and structured data implementation.
• Plan, launch and manage paid campaigns on Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn and other platforms, monitoring ROI and reporting performance.
• Collaborate with content creators to produce AI‑friendly and human‑focused content, and oversee its distribution across digital channels.
• Analyse competitive intelligence using SEMrush and other tools to identify gaps and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field (preferred).
• 5‑7 years of digital marketing experience, including at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
• Proven track record of applying AEO and GEO principles to achieve visibility in AI overviews, featured snippets or generative AI citations.
• Certifications in Google Ads, Facebook Blueprint, SEMrush or similar platforms are highly regarded.

• SEO, Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO).
• SEMrush (keyword gap, backlink audit, position tracking, content gap, market explorer).
• Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Ads.
• Google Analytics, HubSpot.
• Schema markup and structured data implementation.
