About the role

We are building high‑performance, mission‑critical systems for financial markets and are creating a talent community in Sri Lanka to engage senior C++ engineers for current and future roles at LSEG.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable, high‑performance C++ applications.
  • Conduct deep‑dive performance tuning, memory analysis, and kernel‑level optimizations.
  • Work within an Agile framework alongside cross‑functional teams.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentor through code reviews and knowledge‑sharing sessions.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in modern C++ (C++11/14/17/20) with solid grasp of STL and Boost.
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments, multithreading, concurrency and real‑time systems.
  • Experience with build and debug tools such as CMake, GDB, Valgrind, Vtune, Git, ASAN/TSAN.
  • Analytical mindset capable of troubleshooting complex bottlenecks.
