Senior Associate, Operations Transformation Automation

About the role

This position sits within LSEG’s Markets Operations Transformation team, delivering and maintaining operational checks while designing new automation pathways. The role works on the Standard UK Shift (12:30 PM‑9:30 PM Sri Lankan Time) in a hybrid model.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, design and automate repetitive operational processes to reduce manual effort.
• Develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks for operational checks, monitoring and testing.
• Implement proactive monitoring solutions to ensure system stability and trigger alerts.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, engineering, product and operations teams to embed automation into platforms.
• Integrate AI capabilities to enhance decision‑making within automation workflows.
• Lead implementation activities, support system upgrades, releases and critical changes.
• Deliver urgent ad‑hoc development changes and create dashboards for management reporting.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of experience in Automation Engineering, Operational Engineering or RPA development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT or a related discipline.
• Experience with automation tools, RPA platforms and monitoring solutions such as Datadog and Control‑M.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform, modern web technologies and CI/CD pipelines.
