Senior Associate – Operations

About the role

WNS Global Services is seeking a Senior Associate – Operations to join its finance team in Sri Lanka. The role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month‑end close, and ensuring compliance with internal and external audit requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post journals, reconciliations, and monthly financial statements including Income Statement and Statement of Financial Performance.
• Maintain the General Ledger, Fixed Asset register, lease register, and execute monthly depreciation, pre‑payments, and accruals.
• Perform inter‑company reconciliations, foreign‑exchange revaluations, and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Develop tax working schedules for filing returns and support management accounts preparation.
• Assist internal and external auditors, conduct controls investigations, and provide ad‑hoc accounting support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce or a related field.
• Part‑qualified or progressing towards a recognized professional accounting qualification.
• Strong understanding of general ledger processes, asset management, and financial reporting.
