Senior Associate Lead - Privacy Strategy and Compliance

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Senior Associate Lead to strengthen our privacy governance framework and drive compliance across the organization. The role will work closely with business and technology teams to embed privacy‑by‑design principles, manage privacy risks, and ensure adherence to evolving regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Own and continuously enhance the Group’s privacy governance framework, including policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.
• Partner with business and technology teams throughout project lifecycles to embed privacy‑by‑design and ensure compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act.
• Act as a subject‑matter expert on privacy and data protection, providing guidance across functions.
• Monitor regulatory developments and emerging technologies to keep the privacy framework current.
• Develop and deliver privacy awareness, training programs, and communications.
• Support privacy impact assessments (PIAs/DPIAs) and privacy risk assessments, providing practical recommendations.
• Maintain Records of Processing Activities (RoPA) and lead third‑party privacy risk assessments.
• Lead privacy compliance reviews, audits, and incident management, preparing reports for senior management.
• Identify opportunities to leverage automation and technology to enhance privacy governance.

Required profile

• B.Sc. Engineering or equivalent degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related discipline.
• Professional privacy certification (e.g., Certified Information Privacy Manager – CIPM) required or obtainable within an agreed timeframe.
• Additional certifications such as Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT) or Certified Data Privacy Professional are a plus.
