Senior Associate – Finance Business Partnering

About the role

The Senior Associate – Finance Business Partnering role supports the finance function by delivering accurate financial reporting, forecasts and analysis while partnering with business units to drive performance and strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly P&L statements and provide insightful analysis for management decisions.
• Prepare and review balance‑sheet schedules, ensuring accuracy and meaningful insights.
• Deliver rolling forecasts, support annual budgeting and analyse variances.
• Lead finance workstreams on key projects, including UAT, production testing and end‑to‑end financial validation.
• Drive process‑improvement and automation initiatives to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Oversee month‑end close activities, including accrual preparation and financial statement integrity.
• Develop cash‑flow forecasts, manage daily cash, and monitor drawdowns and repayments to optimise funding costs.
• Provide second‑level escalation support for routine financial activities, ensuring timely resolution and compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, or an equivalent professional qualification (CA, CIMA, ACCA).
• 3‑4 years of experience in a similar finance role.
• Experience in an audit firm or financial services industry is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations and financial compliance.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities and drive automation projects.
